Celebrated Christmas with my family here and it was truly amazing. the view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the mountains and surrounded by lush greenery. the staff were so friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay special. We especially enjoyed the Christmas dinner they prepared for us, with a delicious spread of local and international dishes. And the pool was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sunshine.
The distance to the city, as it took us around 20-30 minutes to get to the main attractions. the peaceful surroundings made up for it.

The view from the balcony of my room at Grand Hills was amazing. It overlooked the fine Sri Lankan highlands and I could spend hours just taking in the beauty. The staff at the hotel were accommodating and were pretty good too make my stay special. They even provided a cot for my little one. The swimming pool was small but clean and well-maintained, and the surrounding mountains made it picturesque. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a homely feel to them. The food, although not the best, was tasty and satisfying. I would definitely recommend Grand Hills for a nice stay in Kandy.

This hotel is located in the mountains far from the city. It is a quiet and peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from our room. The pool is clean and well-maintained. We liked that they offered a complimentary breakfast and the local meals were delicious.
The location is problematic as it is far from the main road. The roads leading to the hotel are unpaved and can be dangerous. The transportation to and from the hotel is expensive, and there is no shuttle service. The breakfast options are limited and the Wi-Fi signal is weak. If you need to stay connected, this hotel is not for you. The receptionist was unhelpful and seemed uninterested in catering to our needs. we were disappointed with our Easter stay at this hotel and would not recommend it to others.
